What a wonderful visit we had at Jo and Andrew’s lovely house- ! The surroundings are stunning. We adore
rural France and come frequently, but this area was especially stunning: the beauties of the mountains, the lakes, animals- each day was a joy. The house could not have been more inviting- immaculate, comfortable, homey and well-stocked. It was furnished with good taste– has a great layout, and is a total pleasure to relax in at the end of a day in the mountains. The setting is quiet and peaceful without feeling isolated. Totally recommend- and I can’t wait to come back to this lovely area. Thanks to the hosts for sharing such a special place!

Toute notre famille a passé un excellent séjour au Bégué dans une maison spacieuse, confortable et décorée avec goût. Les propriétaires savent être présents, discrets et charmants. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Jo and Andrew were exceptional hosts and provided us with invaluable knowledge on the area. If hiking or mountain touring is what you want they know where to go.
The house was in excellent shape and had everything we need to prepare the fresh and abundant local grown food.
Make sure you take in the street market on Tuesdays in Argeles Gazost.
The backcountry hikes were stunning whether you went for a few
Hours or all day. If you are a serious cyclist you will be in heaven.
Again I couldn’t.t give any higher recommendation.

We were all blown away by the house upon our arrival with a great homely feel with all the facilities we could have hoped for and more. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the local stunning scenery with Lac d’Estaing 3km away which is a great place to walk and enjoy the mountain air.

Le Begue has everything you need, beautifully furnished and with all the appliances you need to have the perfect holiday. This is a home from home experience and one of our most memorable holiday destinations. The only downside was handing back the keys and leaving this idyllic hideaway.

This holiday home has a lot of space: there are 4 bedrooms with sleeping space for 13 persons. For our family with 2 adults and 3 children there was plenty of room. The kitchen is large and equipped with all comforts. Also the plumbing is good and it was clean and tidy. With nice weather there is a terrace to sit outside. The surroundings of the house are quiet and you have no loud neighbours. The owners live on site but they were away, when we made use of the house.

A beautiful and natural environment for people who love peace and love walking. But there is also plenty to do in the near surroundings, such as a visit to the pilgrimage town of Lourdes.
