This is one of the breathtaking views you’ll enjoy from Le Bégué
In the heart of the Pyrénées National Park
Le Bégué is situated in the picturesque village of Estaing in the Val d’Azun. The village is at an altitude of 1000m and is surrounded by the breathtaking peaks of the Pyrénées.
Estaing is famous for its lake 5 minutes further up the valley, which is very popular with walkers and where there is a visitor centre and bar/café open in the summer months.
In the village is a small campsite, L’Etape du Randonneur, which has a bar/café open to the public with a lovely outdoor terrace and indoor seating. It also has a small grocery and sells fresh bread daily by order.
As it’s only a 10-minute walk from Le Bégué, the campsite is a popular place for our guests to take a leisurely meal or buy some food supplies.
